This web site contains information about consultancy services and training in technical communication of the Swedish firm Alseby & Co. Most of the content here is in Swedish.

We work with documentation of various types and purposes. Technical writing used to be the main part of our business, but now we see that documentation for knowledge sharing is growing.

Perhaps is your company considering to outsource a documentation project, or, parts of it. We often work as a discussion partner about documentation solutions with our customers.

Below are some examples of documentation solutions that can be developed. Typical assignments are as follows:

» Feasibility study, including target groups and their information needs.

» Online help documentation integrated in applications. Sometimes we also produce context-sensitive online help.

» Knowledge sharing system, for example, a wiki or a Sharepoint solution to an IT support team or HR team. We can also give support in processes for knowledge sharing solutions.

» Writing and publishing printed and electronic manuals as well as producing product data sheets.

» Training in technical writing for engineers, system administrators etc.

The finished documentation can result in a User’s Guide to an end-user, a System Integrator’s Manual to a system engineer. The feasibility study will show the best choice of publishing the documentation.
